Allegiant Stadium to host select 2022 NIAA State Football Championships
November 17, 2022 - LAS VEGAS (November 17, 2022) – Select Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association State Championship football games will be played Monday, November 21 in Allegiant Stadium, the NIAA announced this week. The “2022 NIAA Class 1A, 2A, 3A & 4A State Football Championship games, presented by the Las Vegas Raiders,” will be played at Allegiant Stadium based on the current alignment and playoff format for those classifications. Kickoff times for the 2022 NIAA State Championship games, presented by the Las Vegas Raiders, are: 9 a.m. for the Class 1A final (Pahranagat Valley vs. Spring Mountain); 12:20 p.m. for the 3A final (SLAM Nevada vs. Truckee); 3:40 p.m. for the 2A final (The Meadows vs. Lincoln County); and 7 p.m. for the 4A final (Silverado vs. Shadow Ridge). Tickets are on sale through the NIAA’s mobile/digital partner, HomeTown Ticketing.

NFHS Learning Center Debuts Free “Football Tackling” Course Through NFL Partnership
February 8, 2022 - The National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) and the National Football League (NFL) have teamed up to produce a new, free “Football Tackling” course for the NFHS Learning Center, designed to assist interscholastic coaches in teaching, evaluating and programming proper tackling techniques. “This course is full of valuable tools and actual drills that will help any interscholastic football coach, and it is a welcome addition to the NFHS Learning Center,” said Dan Schuster, NFHS Director of Educational Services. “Not only is the content valuable, but it is available at no cost, which will allow easy access to football coaches across the country.” Please click on the headline-link above to read the news release.

The “2021 NIAA / One Nevada Class 5A & 4A State Football Championships, presented by the Las Vegas Raiders,” will be played at Allegiant Stadium based on the current alignment and playoff format for those classifications.
